Yes, I think I'm a bit of a picky eater, and I buy tacos off the street at least once a week. In about a year I've had no problems. I buy them from permanent stands, rather than wheeled carts. And I go to places that seem busy. Garnishes usually include tomatoes, onions, cucumber, grated cabbage, radishes, cheese if you ask for it, a variety of salsas. Pile it up and you've got a complete meal for a couple of dollars. It's ready to eat and someone else cleans up. Take a hefty friend and you can both eat your fill and have a drink for under $10.00.
Don't be scared, really, they're great!
